One organised route to release

Know what comes next.

Use guided, editable milestones from planning and revision through reader rounds, production, marketing, launch and post-release work.

01
Q

Build the book plan

Set a working release date, tailor the guided schedule and track private notes, milestones, formats and publication platforms.

02

Run safeguarded reader rounds

Find or invite suitable Alpha, Beta and ARC readers, record exact terms and require the current agreement before releasing a copy.

03

Turn feedback into release decisions

Use focused questionnaires, review private responses and carry the resulting work into revision, production, marketing and launch.

The reader community

Find people who genuinely read what you write.

Readers build resume-style profiles with specialities, preferences, availability and objective campaign evidence. Authors can recruit volunteers or separately agree a professional private Beta assessment—never a paid public review.

  • Alpha, Beta, ARC or a combination
  • Genre and subgenre specialities
  • Format, length and content preferences
  • Availability and objective reliability evidence

Professional Beta Services

Volunteer by default. Professional when you need it.

Readers may offer volunteer reading, professional private Beta assessments, or both. The basis of each engagement is agreed before manuscript access. Professional payments remain a direct arrangement between the author and reader; BetaQuill does not charge either party for the connection. Public reviews are never for sale.

Founder access, clearly stated

Volunteer readers stay free. Founder authors are free for life.

The first 20 eligible genuine author registrations secure lifetime-free author access. After those founder places, author access is £2.50 per month. Synthetic test accounts do not use founder places.
