What BetaQuill collects

BetaQuill processes account and contact details, reader-profile information, campaign participation, manuscript metadata, policy and agreement evidence, and security and audit records needed to operate the service.

Why it is used

Information is used to provide accounts and private workspaces, connect authors and readers, administer campaigns, protect manuscripts, enforce platform rules, communicate service events, and investigate security or abuse reports.

Manuscripts and confidential material

Uploaded manuscripts are treated as private campaign material. They are not published as WordPress media and are not used for advertising or model training. Access remains subject to workspace, campaign and agreement checks.

Service providers and international access

Hosting, email and other operational providers may process the minimum information needed to supply their services. BetaQuill will document material subprocessors before wider public recruitment.

Retention and your choices

Operational records are retained only as needed for the service, security, disputes and legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@betaquill.com. Some agreement, audit or transaction evidence may need to be retained where there is a lawful reason.
