Using BetaQuill

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and use BetaQuill only for lawful Beta-reading, ARC-reading and related publishing collaboration.

Your material

You retain ownership of manuscripts and other material you upload. You give BetaQuill only the limited permission needed to store, validate, scan, process and deliver that material as part of the campaign features you choose.

Author and reader responsibilities

Authors must have the right to share uploaded material and must describe campaign expectations honestly. Readers must protect confidential material, respect campaign agreements and never redistribute manuscripts or misuse another member’s personal information.

Trial and early-access pricing

Author participation is free throughout early access. When paid subscriptions begin, eligible early-access authors will pay £2.99 per month for their first 12 paid months. One flat author subscription covers unlimited Beta and ARC campaigns; operational storage, upload-security and acceptable-use limits still apply. Reader accounts remain free. BetaQuill will provide the subscription terms before any charge, and the author rate after those first 12 paid months has not been set.

Safety and availability

BetaQuill may restrict or remove accounts and content to protect members, enforce policies or meet legal obligations. Early-access features may change, and no technical or antivirus measure can guarantee that every threat or unauthorised disclosure will be prevented.
