BetaQuill does not permit harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, hate-based abuse, sexual harassment, coercion, doxxing, repeated unwanted contact, impersonation, retaliation, or attempts to evade a block or restriction.

Criticism of a manuscript must address the work and the agreed feedback questions. Personal attacks, humiliation, discriminatory language, threats to publish confidential material, and pressure for money, reviews, contact details, or off-platform access are prohibited.

Members should preserve relevant evidence and use BetaQuill's reporting route when it becomes available. Immediate danger should be reported to the appropriate local emergency service. BetaQuill may restrict contact, remove campaign access, preserve audit evidence, suspend accounts, or permanently remove members after proportionate review.

Reports should be made honestly. Deliberately fabricated or retaliatory reports are themselves misconduct. Affected users will be given an opportunity to respond when doing so does not create additional risk.
